A MORE diverse group of Sunraysia locals will have an opportunity to participate in sport and physical activity following a $250,000 funding boost.

On Tuesday, Sunraysia Mallee Ethnic Communities Council (SMECC) was named as one of 57 recipients under the Federal Government's Driving Social Inclusion through Sport and Physical Activity program.
