SUNRAYSIA rooftop solar installations grew by 17 per cent last year, according to Powercor.

Figures released by the electricity distributor for western Victoria showed a total of 3056 residential solar installations in postcodes across the Mildura region in 2019.

That was up from 2622 installations at the end of 2018 and 2191 in 2017.
