A MAN has been sentenced to five months' jail after being found with dozens of pieces of jewellery, believed to be stolen.

Christopher Egan pleaded guilty to the offending when he faced Mildura Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

The court was told that about 7pm on March 25, the 29-year-old was pulled over by police while driving in Eaglesham Street, Mildura.
