THE effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have thrown weddings into disarray worldwide, forcing couples to postpone or cancel their big day.

But some couples are making the most of a hard situation, like Mildura couple Dani and Tobias Pick, who were married on the banks of the Murray River on May 2.
