RAINFALL has renewed hope for a decent winter crop across the drought-stricken Millewa, with some farmers recording more rain on Wednesday than their total for last year.
Grain and sheep farmer James O'Day, of Merrinee North, described the 32mm which hit his property this week as a "huge relief".
Mr O'Day said it was the most rainfall he had seen since December 2017.
