A COMMUNITY meeting in Mildura that planned to focus on Victoria's preparedness for and response to widespread summer fires has been postponed.

Mildura was to be among 26 locations statewide to host a community meeting to consider the views and experiences of Victorians before, during and after the recent bushfires.
