VICTORIAN Aboriginal Affairs Minister has been urged to intervene over a dispute that threatens the future of the Sea Lake Mallee Rally.

The popular event was postponed last year because of concerns over Aboriginal heritage and the Victorian Parliament was last week told that attempts by organisers -- the Sea Lake Off Road Club -- at reconciliation and compromise have failed.
