AN ordinary day for Jancie Chiswell has become one to remember after she won Sunraysia Daily's Valentine's Day competition.

Drawn on Tuesday, the competition prize pack included two fragrances, a bunch of red roses, a fondue platter for two, a bottle of sparkling chardonnay pinot and a box of chocolate hearts.

The Mildura grandmother said while she and husband Gavin had no plans for Valentine's Day, they were looking forward to sharing their prize.

"We're just going to have a quiet night in with our granddaughter, Chloe Marie. She's already been eyeing off the chocolates," she said.

Ms Chiswell said the couple were looking forward to enjoying the sparkling chardonnay to celebrate another special occasion.

"Our 50th wedding anniversary is coming up, so we will definitely be enjoying the chardonnay," she said.

"It was just beautiful receiving a prize like that."
