Pumps to the rescue at Menindee

DARLING River fish stocks at Menindee have been given a temporary reprieve after water supply was reconnected to critical water storage last week.

NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) contractors began pumping water from a larger upstream pool in Lake Wetherell down to an aerated refuge site at the town main weir on Friday.
