NEW technologies could help mitigate the impacts of the dust storms that have smothered Sunraysia in recent months, according to Mildura-based environmental engineer Adam Pullen.

Mr Pullen said while the drought was exacerbating the frequency of the storms, techniques used in the construction and mining industries could be expanded into other areas.
