EMOTIONS were high at Mildura's Timmis Speedway as the end of an era drew to a close on the biggest calendar weekend for Sunraysia speedway action.

The ever popular Australian Sprintcar All Stars took the chequered flag for the final time across the Easter Power Sports weekend after it was announced a month before that promoter Mandy Searle's series would finish after 17 seasons of competition.
