RUSTY Hickman carved his own slice of history on Friday night at Mildura’s Timmis Speedway when he became the 2021 Sprintcar All-Stars Series champion, emulating his father’s feats from the very first All-stars Series in 2007-08.

The 21-year-old from Bendigo had blitzed the field during the season and another victory at Timmis ensured he followed in the track marks of his father, Darren, 13 years ago.
