HEATERS, hoodies and gloves were the order of the day as Mildura residents woke up to the coldest morning so far in 2021 on Sunday.

The temperature at Mildura Airport was an icy minus 1.2 degrees at 7.30am, with the apparent – or real-feel – temperature at -5.1 degrees.

By 11am, the frost on lawns and car windows had melted as the temperature increased to 11.4 degrees.
