MILDURA residents joined hundreds of thousands of people across Australia marking National Sorry Day this week.

Sorry Day, held annually on May 26, marks the eve of National Reconciliation Week, which officially kicked off on Thursday, the anniversary of the 1967 referendum when Australians voted to recognise Aboriginal people as part of the population.
