Rural doctors overlooked in crisis

With GPs being turned away from providing care in evacuation centres, rural doctors are calling for a National Rural Responder Network to assist in disaster management.

The Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA) has been working towards developing a plan for a national network of accredited doctors who can be called upon by disaster management agencies.
