RE Neville Gardner’s letter “How can Aust­ralia make a difference?” (Sunraysia Daily, November 5): we live on an insignificant planet ­rotating around an insignificant star in an insignificant solar system floating in the vast void of space.

This little insignificant planet is subject to a vast number of different forces that, fortunately for us, balance out into a sweet spot, however there is no guarantee this will last.
