TO Cr Glenn Milne: the NorthWest Rail Alliance motion (Sunraysia Daily, October 31) is about supporting more than 8000 of your constituents who signed a petition run by the NWRA, which seems to be the only one ­doing anything ongoing and practical about the return of our passenger train.

The NWRA is, in fact, doing the council’s job.
