I wish to reply to Jason Gordon (Sunraysia Daily, September 16). 

The last big-name artist to play in Sunraysia would have been John Farnham many years ago under a huge marquee at the Aero Ovals on his “The Voice” tour and it was a fantastic show.

There has been zilch since, which is a great pity.

Now that we have Nowingi Place and the backdrop of the river it would be a tremendous venue to play.

I would certainly relish it.
