With all the efforts from public and community organisations, why are males figure so high in suicide statistics. Between 75-80 per cent of Australians who committ suicide are males.

Maybe the prevention message needs to be more gender focused. Males who have had relationship and financial issues appear in over 50 per cent of known or linked causes in suicide rates.
