MEDICARE subsidies which allow patients to access telehealth consults with healthcare professionals including doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists without incurring out-of-pocket expenses must be expanded beyond September.

The Federal Government announced the initiative as part of its COVID-19 response, with the funding to allow the subsidies due to end in September.
