Far from trying to make the Mildura Lawn Tennis Club look bad, I was approached by Sunraysia Daily on this subject and asked if Council would have supported the event. My answer was as written: yes, I believe we would have as it would bring visitors to the region. Absolutely no condemnation of the tennis club’s decision at all – they know what the courts and the club can handle. I simply answered the question that was put to me.
