FROM farm to plate, residents supported local producers at the Sunraysia Farmers Market on Saturday.

Due to a initial forecast of 44 degrees earlier in the week, organisers decided to shorten the market's operating hours to 7.30-10.30am.

Organisers said it was the best decision in the safety interest of volunteers and the public and also chose not to operate the breakfast stall at the event.
