Winds spread Mallee dust far and wide

WIND gusts that rose to 65km/h in the Mallee on Friday afternoon created yet another dust storm that affected much of Victoria.

The dust storm that began in Victoria's north-west travelled south as temperatures soared to a high of 42.9 degrees just before 4pm in Mildura following a top of 43.7 on Thursday.
