NEWLY appointed interim Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) chair Bob Cameron has emphatically declared all hospital staff will keep their jobs once the transition to public management is complete.

“I want all the staff to know that we are employing them,” Mr Cameron said on Tuesday.

“All of them.

“They need not have any concerns about that. All of them ... all of them.”

Mr Cameron was yesterday announced as interim chair of the newly established MBPH to help in the transition of bringing the hospital back to public management in September next year.

A former Labor Government Minister, Mr Cameron is the current chair of Bendigo Health, and he was quick to dismiss any rumours of services being lost to Mildura and taken to Bendigo after the transition is complete...
