MEN'S and women's health checks will be the focus of Dareton Men in a Shed and Dareton Primary Health's event, Spanner in the Works, this month.

Qualified primary and allied health staff will run various health stations in the workshop, with each one focusing on a different aspect of men's and women's health, including waistline and diet, blood pressure checks, blood sugar levels, physical fitness and activity levels, smoking cessation programs, emotional and mental health awareness,skin health, alcohol consumption, bowel health, continence and prostate health, oral health and women's health checks as relevant.

The free event will be held on Wednesday, October 23 from noon-4pm.
