CASES of influenza B are being recorded at a comparatively higher proportion this season than 2024, as rates of vaccinations in young children slow.

In the year to date influenza rates remain the highest in children aged zero to four, and five to nine years of age, with the proportion of influenza B stronger in the five to 19 years of age group.
