A NEW automated external defibrillator is being installed in Merbein at the Kenny Park Tennis Club, boosting the town's ability to respond to cardiac arrests.

The AED was donated as part of the town's involvement in the year-long Heart Safe Communities initiative, a joint program between Ambulance Victoria and the Heart Foundation.
