THE Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia has renewed an urgent call for more specialist nurses in rural and regional areas.

May 12 was International Nurses Day, and the foundation has pointed to fresh data showing there is only one specialist nurse per 239 newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients nationwide.
