THE preferred site for Mildura's $36 million alcohol and other drugs treatment facility is expected to be known "in coming months".

The new adult residential rehabilitation facility will provide 24-hour care and support for members of the community going through withdrawal or detox, and people who have gone through withdrawal or stabilisation and need to continue their treatment.
