NEW owners have taken over the operation of Keens Pharmacy in Merbein.

Couple Nicholas Wong and Julie Liew started running the store on May 10, after missing out on a prior sale of the business four years ago.

Ms Liew said they've both worked in chain pharmacies and independent community pharmacies, and prefer working in the latter.
