MILDURA will soon be without a permanent dermatologist, with locals facing the prospect of travelling as far as Melbourne or Adelaide for treatments.

Mildura skin specialist Dr Lloyd Hale retires at the end of the month, with community members calling for a replacement to make Mildura their home and fill the gap.
