PATIENTS seeking medical attention at Mildura Base Hospital's emergency department had a median waiting time of 25 minutes this year, according to the latest statistics from the Victorian Agency for Health Information.

From January to March, 8092 people presented at the hospital's emergency department, 227 fewer than the previous three months.
