A SOCIAL media push to reinstate two senior obstetricians at the Mildura Base Hospital (MBH) is having an impact.

So far the "Save Mildura's Local Doctors!" public Facebook group has amassed a following of almost 4000 people.

Since the group started members have shared stories about their experiences with senior obstetricians Dr Wendy Hughes and Dr Kimberley Sleeman.
