Patients rally to reinstate Mildura Base Hospital obstetricians

ALMOST 3000 people have joined a social media campaign fighting to save the careers of two senior obstetricians at Mildura Base Hospital (MBH).

The campaign – called Save Mildura's Local Doctors – was launched with the goal of getting both doctors reinstated after service model changes by operators Ramsay Health Care effectively stopped them from practising.

The group is asking people to help brainstorm ideas on how they can get Ramsay to reverse its decision which has left doctors Kimberley Sleeman and Wendy Hughes in limbo.
