OUTSIDE of his family and sporting life, Danny Lee was known as a passionate and visionary irrigator, and the public face of a water rights battle that went all the way to the High Court.

His friends Ken Bennett, Bruno and Nancy Prevedello, Greg Milner, Frank Dimasi and Dave Beard all reflected on the many years they and Danny spent fighting bureaucracy.
