GOLF has introduced new rules as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The introduction of the new local rules are allowing golfers to continue to play – for now.

Under the rule changes there will be no flag sticks and lids on individual holes.

All rakes will be removed from bunkers, only one person will be allowed in each buggy and each player will be required to mark their own scorecard.
