MORE than 50 community members banded together in honour of Sunraysia woman and Latje elder Myrtle "Penny" Kirby on Saturday during the Big Red Kidney Walk.

Penny lost her battle with kidney disease last year but the walk, co-ordinated by her family, is their way of keeping her memory alive.
