FORMER South Mildura footballer Robbie Tarrant has backed inexperienced teammates Sam Durdin and Ben McKay to fill the void left by the retired Scott Thompson at North Melbourne.

The 30-year-old is now very much the most experienced player in the Kangaroos’ backline but said Durdin and McKay had been performing well across the club’s pre-season campaign.
