FORMER Red Cliffs footballer Tyson Old will be hoping to build on his four VFL games this year after re-signing with Coburg for 2020.

The 23-year-old was recruited to the Lions from Northcote Park in the Northern Football League, playing there when not selected for the VFL side.

He told Coburg's website it was a tough step up from local football to the state league.
