FORMER Red Cliffs footballer Dylan Stephens is one of a host of prospects at this month’s AFL draft undergoing further medical assessment.

Club recruiters were able to nominate players they hoped to do more medical assessments on following October’s NAB AFL Draft Combine, with the South Australian-based midfielder undergoing independent screening while Victorian prospects will do the same at a medical day in Melbourne tomorrow.

The checks are regular practice for clubs in November under AFL supervision as scouts search for extra information in the lead-up to the national and rookie intakes. 

The 2019 NAB AFL Draft runs from November 27 to 28.
