WENTWORTH has kept its finals hopes alive with a nail-biting three-point win over ladder leaders Robinvale Euston in a high-pressure round seven clash at George Gordon Oval at Dareton on Saturday afternoon, prevailing 13.6 (84) to 12.9 (81).
The Roos came out strong, with Lachlan Murdoch and Rhys Mutch leading from the backline and curbing the influence of Eagles forward Ricardo Liparota.
An early goal from Dion Camera set the tone for the visitors, but Wentworth’s Jordan McKinnon quickly responded to level proceedings.
