PETER Tuifao is staking a strong claim for a starting role in Sunraysia’s defence when the green and gold clash with Central Rivers next month.

Tuifao was best on ground in Red Cliffs’ 44-point win against South Mildura on Saturday, continually stymieing any advance past half-back in a five star performance.
