TEN of Sunraysia's up-and-coming footballers began preseason training in Bendigo on Sunday to kick off the NAB League Pioneers Program for 2021-22.

Regional development coach Sam Bice said the 10 players, drawn from four Sunraysia Women's Football League sides, represented the "highest number in a couple of seasons" to take part in the Pioneers program.
