THE Sunraysia Football Netball League (SFNL) is considering playing a nine-round season after the league followed a recommendation from AFL Victoria to postpone the season until May 31.

SFNL board members met on Tuesday night to discuss alternative plans after it was revealed matches would not proceed on April 10 as scheduled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
