HUNDREDS of millions of bees have been killed in the current bushfire crisis, leaving Sunraysia apiarists concerned for this year's almond pollination.

Gol Gol apiarist and pollination broker Trevor Monson said there had been reports of as many as 16,000 hives burnt out by fires that continue to ravage Australia.
