Seeding begins on Nangiloc edible hemp crop

MILDURA is one step closer to boasting the largest organic edible hemp crop in Australia, after Murray River Organics (MRO) started sowing seeds at its certified Nangiloc property this week.

Agriculture Victoria granted MRO a licence to grow the low-THC cannabis in June, which would be made available for growing domestic and export markets for hemp-based foods.
