Drought drives call for rate relief in south-west NSW

DRYLAND farmers north of Mildura say they are running out of options to survive on the land and only "a little bit of help" will allow many to continue into another season.

Two of the worst combined rainfall years on record has forced the hand of many south-west NSW property owners, who are beginning to offload their livestock "nest eggs" in order to maintain hope of a prosperous 2020 crop.
