A NEW $400,000 citrus grader was unveiled at the Dareton Primary Industries Institute on Wednesday to help elevate research capabilities to industry standard.

The new grader is a Global Scan 7 from MAF Oceania and has the capability to take 200 photos of each piece of fruit to detect for blemishes and burns.
