Fish kills more than tripled, reveals new EPA report

A NEW South Wales EPA report released last week shows the worsening health of rivers and wetlands, including in the Far West of the state despite wet years.

Since first coming to national prominence in 2019, concerns about fish kills and frequency of deaths has more than tripled averaging at 69 kill events recorded annually between 2019 and 2023.
