THE retail price for the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) cattle ear tags for Victorian producers has fallen again when purchased online.

The retail price under a new supply contracts had already been reduced in April 2021 from 74 cents to 64 cents per tag.

Since last week they are now available to Victorian cattle producers from 44 cents per tag.
